Specialized support for the parts of life that ask the most of you.
Three places people tend to get stuck, and three ways I can help you get unstuck.

PERINATAL THERAPIST ILLINOIS / POSTPARTUM ANXIETY THERAPY
Perinatal Therapy
For the emotional load of becoming a parent, before, during, or after.
Maybe you’re navigating fertility challenges, deciding whether to have kids, moving through pregnancy with more anxiety than excitement, supporting a partner through pregnancy or postpartum,,or adjusting to a postpartum life that doesn’t feel like you anymore. Maybe you’re grieving a perinatal loss, trying to make sense of a difficult or traumatic birth experience, or finding that becoming a mother or father has brought up more than you expected.
Perinatal therapy with me is space to process the whole reality of this season, including the joy, grief, fear, identity shifts, and complicated feelings that can exist at the same time. As a Certified Perinatal Mental Health specialist (PMH-C), this work is a core part of my practice.
This might sound like you:
You’re navigating fertility challenges or thinking about parenthood and feel more anxious or uncertain than you expected.
Pregnancy, postpartum, supporting a partner, or adjusting to new parenthood feels overwhelming, isolating, or unlike what you imagined.
You’re carrying grief after a perinatal loss or struggling with what happened during pregnancy, birth, or postpartum, whether you experienced it physically or alongside your partner.
Becoming a mother or father has shifted your identity, relationship, or sense of yourself in ways you didn't anticipate.
How I help: We’ll make sense of what’s happening emotionally, work through grief, trauma, identity shifts, and the pressure that can come with this season, and build tools that help you feel more grounded, supported, and like yourself again.
ANXIETY THERAPIST ILLINOIS / ERP THERAPY FOR OCD AND INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS
Anxiety, Panic, & OCD Therapy
For the mind that absolutely will not slow down.
On the outside you might look totally fine. Inside, your thoughts loop and spiral, your body feels braced for impact, and the panic can hit so hard it feels physical, like something is genuinely wrong.
Anxiety and panic therapy helps you understand what's happening in your mind and body, so anxiety becomes manageable instead of all-consuming. For intrusive thoughts and OCD patterns, I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), one of the most effective evidence-based treatments available.
This might sound like you:
You're anxious all the time and can't turn your brain off, even when you want to relax.
You have panic attacks that feel physical and out of control, sometimes like a medical emergency.
Your thoughts loop and overanalyze until you're mentally wiped.
You feel permanently “on edge” and don't know how to actually feel calm.
You get stuck in intrusive thoughts, mental checking, or patterns you know are not helping but feel hard to stop.
How I help: We'll get to know your anxiety patterns, learn to regulate your nervous system, break the overthinking cycle, and build a kind of calm you can actually count on, so you respond instead of spiral.
THERAPIST FOR LIFE TRANSITIONS ILLINOIS / THERAPY FOR FEELING STUCK
Therapy for Life Transitions
For the version of you that’s still figuring itself out.
Some transitions you choose. Some just happen to you. Either way, they can leave you second-guessing every decision, grieving what or who you’ve lost, or wondering how the life you knew changed so quickly.
Therapy can give you space to make sense of what has shifted and what comes next. That might mean navigating a relationship change, a new role, burnout, identity shifts, grief and loss, or simply realizing that something in your life no longer fits.
This might sound like you:
You feel stuck, unsure what direction to take, and second-guess everything.
You’re grieving a person, relationship, role, season of life, or future you expected to have.
Your relationships feel confusing, draining, or hard to navigate.
You’ve outgrown parts of your life but don’t know what comes next.
How I help: We’ll make space for what you’re carrying, untangle what has changed, and help you move forward in a way that feels more grounded and true to where you are now.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY ILLINOIS / ONLINE THERAPIST ILLINOIS
Individual Therapy
Sometimes you just feel off, and that's reason enough.
Not everything fits neatly into a category, and you don't need the right words for what's wrong before you reach out. Maybe a few of my specialties sound a little like you, or none of them quite do, and you just know something's not right and you're tired of carrying it alone.
Whatever brought you here, individual therapy is a space to slow down, make sense of what you're feeling, and build a way forward that fits your actual life. The same thread runs through all of my work: you don't have to be in crisis to deserve support, and you don't have to do this by yourself.
This might sound like you:
You feel off or not like yourself, and you can't quite explain why.
More than one area of your life feels heavy at once.
You've been meaning to talk to someone for a while and finally feel ready.
You want a thoughtful, honest therapist, even if you're not sure where to start.
How I help: We'll start with whatever's loudest, get underneath it together, and find the tools and clarity that help you feel more like yourself. No label required to begin.
A few things people ask.

Perinatal therapy supports the emotional and mental health challenges of becoming a parent, including before pregnancy, during pregnancy, and after birth. It addresses anxiety, overwhelm, identity shifts, and feeling alone during a season often assumed to be purely joyful. I'm certified in perinatal mental health (PMH-C).

Therapy for life transitions helps you navigate periods of change, whether chosen or unexpected. It supports people who feel stuck, are second-guessing big decisions, are working through relationship shifts, grieving a loss, or feel like they’ve outgrown their old life and aren’t sure what’s next.

Yes. I help clients understand what's happening in the body during panic, why it can feel like a medical emergency, and how to move through it with more confidence and less fear. For OCD, panic and intrusive thoughts, I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), a leading evidence-based treatment, coupled with ACT and CBT.

That's completely fine, and more common than you'd think. Individual therapy is the place to start when you just feel off or several things feel heavy at once. We don't need a label to begin; we'll work with whatever's loudest first.
